Faith over Fear
For this weeks post, my goal for you is to really do some deep thinking. Really examine yourself and if need be take some notes.
Oftentimes in life we get to a point where we are just in our normal routine, more along the lines of autopilot. Doing the same old things day in and day out. But are we truly living to our full potential? Are we striving to reach that long term goal? If you answered no to one of these questions then I think it's time for you take some time and truly think about it. What is really stopping you?
In most cases it's simply fear. According to Merriam Webster fear is defined as an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger.Even with writing this, I too had to take a look at myself and do a self evaluation.
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV
"Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." Luke 12:32 KJV
These scriptures helped me come to an understanding that fear does not come from the Lord. Honestly with the Lord on my side who do I have to fear? He knows all the things that concerns me. He even knew me even before I was in my mother's womb.
"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." Jeremiah 1:5 KJV
So with this new understanding, don't let fear torment you out of your dreams and aspirations. You are worthy of a good life! Speak those things as if they were and get in alignment with the will of the Lord. He wants to see you prosper!Xoxo Rajanee'
